Tan Sri Dato' Sri Arumugam, Chairman PSM, SSAP, SIMP, DSAP, DIMP CEng (Lon), FIEE (Lon), FRAeS(Lon), FIMarEST(Lon), FInstD(Lon), Tan Sri Arumugam, 61, is a non executive & independent Director of Tritel. He has been Chairman since 1997. A Chartered Electrical Engineer by training, he is also a Fellow of the Institution of Electrical Engineers, London, a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, London and a Fellow of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology, London. He is associated with the University of Oxford in his capacity as Honorary Fellow of St. Catherine's College, University of Oxford, and a member of the Chancellors Court. He is Chairman and Founder of Sri Inderajaya Holdings and Mahkota Technologies in Malaysia, with a career spanning over 30 years with these companies. His principal business interests covers a wide spectrum of industries from investment holdings in multi-engineering and real estate companies to electrical power, mechanical, electronics and utilities infrastructure entities internationally. He has diversified business interests in areas of Publishing, Travel, Agriculture, Food and Education and he sits in advisory committees in a number of international groups and organisations. Tan Sri Arumugam also holds the Presidents Office for St. John Ambulance Malaysia, Central Region. From his years of dedicated public services rendered, he has been conferred with numerous titles from the Kingdom of Malaysia as well as from the Republic of Italy. He also holds Club Memberships in Oxford & Cambridge Club and Athenaeum Club in London. Tan Sri Arumugam is married and has 4 children.
