Lalith Mendis, Board Member & CFO A Chartered Accountant by profession, Mr.Lalith Mendis counts a career spanning nearly Twenty Five Years in Finance, Auditing and Business Management. He has gained extensive experience and wide exposure as head of finance and internal audit in many an industry ranging from Insurance to Telecommunication. He was the Financial Controller of Diners Club International Bahrain, which controlled suburban territories such as Yemen, Sudan, Syria and Qatar. As head of finance he has been extensively involved in strategic planning, review of financial & internal controls, management of portfolio of investments and spear headed computerization of accounting systems. He was admitted as an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka in 1989 and has served in committees of the Institute such as Taxation, Education Curriculum & Library and auditing standards.
