Tritel, the foremost public payphone operator in Sri Lanka marked a momentous milestone in its quest to pioneer hitherto un-heard-of innovative solutions, when it proudly announced the launching of, “The first ever mobile reload service using  Tritel Payphone Terminals” at the press briefing held jointly with “Etisalat”, one of the leading mobile operators in Sri Lanka.

The unique service proposition is expected to revolutionise the prepaid mobile user market fast gaining popularity in the country today, and bring about a spurt in low denomination mobile reloads, starting from as low as Rs 20/-, with the reload facility becoming more affordable and easily accessible at all Tritel Payphone Terminals deployed through the length and breadth of the country. Moreover, the new service adds another “feather in the cap” for Tritel, which has achieved “many industry firsts” to its credit, through the unremitting efforts of its core team to do business through novelty and creativity.

Mr. Ratnayake further commented that, whilst Tritel is delighted to partner Etisalat in getting the service off the ground, steps would be taken to extend the reload facility to all mobile users in Sri Lanka through Tritel Pay phones in due course and the necessary arrangements for that purpose are currently underway.
